How Google Tag Manager Boost Conversions?
GTM enables the conversions in the following ways:
-
Enhances conversion tracking
GTM facilitates tracking events and also crucial actions. For example, GTM tracks call or clicks and present a picture of the visitor’s journey while collecting more data.
-
Simplifies troubleshooting
By setting up all basic conversion Tags in the GTM, troubleshooting is also simplified.
-
Time dealing with developers is reduced.
GTM reduces the time of communicating with web developers. The marketers can add HTML tags with ease without consulting the developers, thereby focusing more on marketing.
-
Allows advanced page-view tracking
A web page has multiple elements, such as:
- URL
- Buttons
- Images
- Text
The above elements can be set up as tags that can be used to track the visitor’s engagement. In the absence of a video trigger, it can help in determining the time spent by the visitor on the web page. More information about specific elements is also revealed.
-
Scroll tracking and User segments to identify barriers to conversions
Not many people scroll down till the end of a web page and stop in between. This can be figured out through scroll tracking. This feature of GTM helps identify where visitors stopped scrolling and the number of visitors actually converting. It enables us to figure out the interaction of the visitors with different segments of the web page. Thus, any potential barrier to conversion can be determined using GTM.
Conclusion
GTM enables to track the web traffic efficiently and help the marketers to optimize the space for revenue generation through PPC methodology.
